Sign language interpreting and translation across Europe are undergoing profound change. Growing public visibility, shifting community expectations and complex communication settings call for a fresh look at who we are as professionals. The 2027 conference explores visibility, responsibility and trust, from professional identity and role boundaries to interpreting in contexts of inequality and building lasting trust with Deaf communities.
